Better than the 1st!

I was always a huge fan of the first, but this was even better!
I love how you guys do everything together! You work so well together. From the animation, straight down to the music.
No matter what, you two always do great things together.
Amazing, and glad to see it got the recognition the original never did.
Well earned.

Feel free to look me up if you ever make TT: Ten Ways Pack 02
;)

The usual

But why the hell did Hank turn into lobster man!?
It doesn't seem to fit.
Hopefully he doesn't stay like that...

An ode to Rudy

The only Flash animator who can go from a movie called Turd of the Week, with a score < 1.50 to an amazingly artistic collab, with two awards, back to a collab about animating like a n00b.

I myself once tried something like this. But I submitted it as a solo work.
Not surprisingly, it got blammed. But, I think pulling off a noob style is simple.
12 fps. Only one layer allowed. Stick men. When something leaves the screen, it leaves a portion of itself behind. Things randomly change colors once and awhile.
It's rather fun to do actually.

Good job man.

Mister Ruediger
Where would we be without you?
Collab hoster supreme

You guys...

Very funny.
Mindchamber did an amazing job on some of those 3D sequences. I especially enjoy with rotation of the white outline Tank. Makes it seem like a legit award show!

Tom, as always, is hilarious. That guy will do anything!
My favorite parts were "Show support for his music by buying Castle Crashers"
I goofy blend of product placement, congratulations, and nonsense. Haha.

Then of course the many variations of the end scene.
I'm just kidding, I'm not working on Pico 2.
I'm going to go delete your e-mails.
I'm going to go delete Pico 2.

I love your involvement in the community like this Tom.
I hope to see a similar video next year.

Peaceful

Beautifully put together Mr. Ruediger!
This is just so calm, and smoothing.
So of that parts were just amazingly done as well!

Newgrounds may be filled with cock jokes, and video game parodies. But once in a while chill, artsy peices like this come along that make you see that there are still people on Newgrounds with more to offer.

Superb organization by Rudy!

Incredible!

This is truly a masterpiece!
I loved it, and watched it probably 7 times in a row!
The animations is at a level beyond smooth. It all just flows so naturally.

Every time watching it I would change which character I focused on, and I could see how flawlessly you matched motion to sound.

I love how each original, and wacky character will just receed into the darkness when their portion is complete. It is interesting to see that every character will remain on screen at all times.

I've never seen anything like this before.
Perfect choice of song for this particular piece of work.

Favorited for sure!!

TheBoogley responds:

Thanks goatie, I'm glad you liked it! It was really hard work but I'll try and keep my work to around this level of finish in the future. :)

I liked it!

Very artsy. Much more-so than I'm used to seeing from you.
Which is good!
It's hard to switch up your style so much, and go for a more artistic adventure, rather than just a light hearted comedic feel.

Very cool. There were some very good choices of colors, and some exciting moments of animations.
The 3D rotation around the blue guy on top of the building turned out very nice. It gave it a very nice little added touch.

Although the chipmunk voices are kind of entertaining, I would like to hear a version at the normal pitch.
But perhaps it wouldn't have the same mood that way.
Well done!

Not bad

It was a cool effect.
I liked how the smoke was drawn like outside of the lines.

And the the words that were traced out of a smoke line looked cool too. It was a neat effect. But it would have been neater, if the guy who took off was in front of the lines tracing out the words like a sky writer!!

One thing, I think a requirement for the collab, should be that it's done in the style of Reb Bull commercials.
You know, simple backgrounds. Black and White with squiggly coloring.
It would be cool if they had that common theme

Vincoid responds:

Yeah, I actually forgot adding the guy in front :P

I was also thinking about implementing that style, but I like to see a bunch of variation and people's own styles, instead of the same style all over.

I think I'll make one of my own parts in that style though. And if it turn out to be awesome, maybe a sequel or something?

I've got an even better idea! Why don't you lead by example and join? You're a great animator and it would be cool to have you on board ;)

If not, thanks for the review and I'll take the idea into consideration :)

Wtf?

How does this get 3.82?
All you did was tween a guys eyebrows, and then have a bouncing sprite or Mario.
I know it's making fun up sprite movies, but just because it's a parody of something doesn't mean it deserves this high of a score.

You could have just put this on the BBS, or frontpage post.
If I make a a movie making fun of you making fun of a review left in a movie, I deserve atleast 4.21!? Right!!?

Sorry dude. Although he fact that someone left such a stupid review is funny, this movie is getting way too much credit

Spite responds:

Yeah I had no idea it would get this good a score. I think people just agree and give it a good vote.

I don't have front page posts, but who really reads long rants always. Especially when it could be presented visually with a quick flash. Flash is way more entertaining.

And the BBS?...are you serious?

Also its not about one person who left a stupid review its about thousands. Go check any Mario movie. There's 2 on the front page right now.

I think that effort often gets confused with its overall quality. Just because someone threw a bunch of animation around a lame joke doesn't make the joke somehow funny.

And it if it isn't necessary, than how would more animation make this joke funnier. Maybe that's what you should have left in your review.

I'm not sure what your flash deserves, but unless it has something to do with mine than you probably shouldn't be comparing. If your looking for that check your own reviews

Good premise

I have to dock you lots though since you barely drew anything.
The backgrounds are from Portal: The Flash Version
The characters are just from Madness sprite sheets.
The opening scene is just random backgrounds but blurry.

Good idea, and you did a fairly good job.
But I think you're receiving too much credit.

But I can't dock you all the marks. Because there is obviously work still put into it.

What's a goat?
